Moral and Spiritual regeneration was the order of the day as officials are advised to treat people with disabilities as equal, with dignity and with respect.

In South Africa, people with disabilities are expected to be given a priority at workplace and service centers.

"We have seen the need for this programme to discuss and find ways of ending discrimination against people with disabilities. Also to accept that people with disabilities are also normal people and therefore deserve equal treatment in the workplace and civil societies", Gloria Tshepe

Every citizen whether able bodied or disabled, is supposed to remember that we all have the Right To Equality which imposes a Responsibility to Respect every human being.

The Community Safety and Transport Management officials gathered at the Klerksdorp Protea Hotel to launch awareness campaign in respect of officials with disabilities within the department. The programme is coordinated by the Gender Focal Point & Diversity Management under Corporate Services chief directorate. Chaplain Mothabeng did set the tone of the program.

Stakeholders such as the Office on The Status Of Persons With Disabilities, Crime Prevention Directorate, IEH&W, Representatives From SARS and Mr Kodisang Moagi who is the former Provincial Chairperson for a forum on Disabilities graced the occasion.
